In today’s competitive pool industry, standing out from the crowd isn’t optional; it’s essential. One of the best ways to separate yourself from the competition while gaining specialized expertise is by becoming STAR Certified. The STAR (Stain Treatment and Removal) Certification program gives pool professionals the knowledge and skills to properly identify, prevent, and remove metal stains and water discoloration in swimming pools—a challenge that frustrates countless pool owners.
Completing the STAR Certification gives you confidence and credibility. You’ll be able to recommend proven products and methods that work every time, eliminating the trial-and-error approach many pool pros are forced to take. With STAR training, you’ll have science-based solutions that extend the life of pool finishes, protect water balance, and deliver real, visible results. And because the program is open to all pool professionals—dealers, service providers, builders, and plasterers, it’s a career investment that pays off regardless of your specialty.
The STAR Certification has been developed by Periodic Products, the industry leader in stain prevention and removal, and creator of the patented CuLator product line. This is training backed by the company that pioneered technologies to remove metals entirely, not just mask them.
Becoming STAR Certified doesn’t just expand your technical knowledge; it elevates your business. It sets you apart in your market, builds customer trust, and strengthens your reputation as the go-to professional for solving one of the industry’s toughest problems. Happier customers lead to repeat service, referrals, and increased profits.
STAR Certification is more than education; it’s a business advantage. If you’re ready to stand out, deliver results your customers will see and appreciate, and grow your bottom line, it’s time to get STAR Certified!
